The Park and Ride will run on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 0900 to midnight.
Buses will run from the Park and Ride field to the Kingswear Banjo.
Cost will be £8 per day and a four day ticket can be
purchased for £25.
Cars displaying a four day ticket may be left overnight, and
the field will be open on Sunday for people to recover
cars.
Anyone who has been to the Dartmouth regatta before will know that parking in Kingswear is very limited. Darthaven Marina car park has few spare spaces but they have no obligation to provide parking for competing crews.
We have now negotiated a Sailing Competitors Car Park a short distance from the marina and can offer 50 parking spaces to competing crews. The cost will be £25 per car and this charge covers parking from Wednesday to Sunday.
Parking permits for this new facility will be on a first come first served basis. No permit means no parking in the Competitors Car Park.

Car parking permits for competitors who have paid £25 and reserved a space can be collected from the Regatta Reception Desk; situated in the Royal Dart Yacht Club Cadet Room, left hand door inside the entrance, from Monday 25th August onwards.
Darthaven Marina in Kingswear have kindly offered the following facilities for dinghy racers competing in this years Dartmouth Regatta.
Dinghy launching facilities will be available from the visitors pontoon at Darthaven. Access is via the ramp by the hoist or via the ramp at the marina office.
Please be aware that the marina will be busy during regatta so caution must be taken at all times.
There will also be limited space for parking trailers in a
designated area opposite the marquee on the left beyond the
hoist. Please do not leave your trailer in any other areas.
There is no charge for dinghy launching or parking of
dinghies on trailers during the dinghy regatta, but all
dinghies and trailers must be removed by noon Wednesday 25th
August.
No dinghies can be berthed on the water at Darthaven
Marina.
Car Parking will be at Darthaven Marina and there will be a charge of £5 per day - first hour free. Please note that there are no reserved spaces in this car park.
Please be advised that any crew, skippers or visitors on boats which hold an annual agreement with Darthaven Marina Ltd are not entitled to free car parking, especially during Regatta week.
Visitors are NOT entitled to free parking during Regatta at Darthaven Marina.
This applies as space is very limited and Darhaven Marina aims to allocate car parking fairly. The use of Car Sharing as well as public transport is recommended as there is no guarantee that car parking space will be available at Darthaven Marina.
Please ensure that there is awareness of the Darthaven Marina car parking and fee policy, before arrival, to avoid any problems.
